The clients' needs
come first. Period. We stake a 35-year business reputation of
absolute integrity in the personal trust and estate management
business on each and every engagement. While estate liquidations do
not constitute a fiduciary relationship, we conduct our business
with adherence to strict trust principles. We always avoid
conflicts of interest and self dealing. Professionals can rest
assured that our experience and reputation will help to protect them
as they administer their clients' property. To further protect our
clients, we maintain at least a $50,000 surety bond at all times.

CAROL MATESIC, RN, ISA AM
Carol resides in
the Canyon Creek area of Richardson,
Texas and conducts her estate
liquidation and appraisal business primarily in the Dallas/Fort
Worth Metroplex. One of the area’s most active estate sellers,
averaging 26 sales per year, Carol has been in the business for 15 years, following a 15-year career as a registered nurse
specializing in operating room and plastic surgery.
Her thorough
knowledge of both antiques and regular personal property was first
gained as one of the original dealers at Antiqueland Mall in
Plano (1995-2001). She gave up her
retail business in 2001 to strictly concentrate on estate sales and
appraisals of personal property, which also served to reduce
potential conflicts of interest.
Carol’s appraisal work involves estate settlement, Federal Estate
Tax valuations, insurance, divorce, charitable donations, and
business reorganizations.
She has also lectured on the value of antiques, collectibles and personal property to numerous
church groups, social clubs, AARP chapters, and for the Private Client Group of a
major Texas bank.
In the estate liquidation business,
Carol pioneered the use of technology in the
Dallas
area, not just to create this Web site in 1998, but was the first to
update the site before every estate sale with detailed descriptions
and pictures of available property. Imitation being the sincerest
form of flattery, in the past 10 years, her technology and marketing
ideas, along with the way she operates her sales, have been adopted
by a number of other professionals in the field.
Carol is an Accredited Member of the International Society of
Appraisers (ISA)
www.isa-appraisers.org. She spends several weeks per year receiving
continuing education training, most recently having completed the
ISA's Antiques and Residential Contents course. She also received
art conservation instruction at the Phoenix Art Conservation
Laboratory in San Antonio. In the fall of 2005 she was
selected as one of the Dallas area's top appraisers by DHome
magazine, and she appeared in their 2006 Dallas Gold Pages.
Finally, she was chosen as one of the antiques appraisers for the
Junior League of Dallas' "Antique is Chic" appraisal event (similar
to the PBS Antiques Roadshow) held in conjunction with
their Days of Spring Market in April of 2006. Excellent personal references are available at any
time, including on this site (press the "Testimonials" button on the
menu bar to the left of your screen).
